Casio has announced a new BGA-200 series of five Baby-G watches. There's the BGA-200-2E in turquoise-blue, the BGA-200-3E in green, the BGA-200-4E in pink, the BGA-200-7E in white, and the BGA-200-1E in black.

TOKYO, March 18, 2010 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the latest additions to its Baby-G family of shock-resistant watches for women. The new BGA-200 watches introduce a playful, resort-style design.

Casio’s Baby-G casual watches are meant for active young women. Along with the toughness inherited from G-Shock, including both shock and water resistance, the Baby-G brand offers fashion appeal created by individualistic styling and creative color use, as well as a range of functions including World Time.

The new BGA-200 watches feature a simple, square form, a nuanced checkered face design with rich color tones, and a wide watchband that makes them wear like a bangle. These new Baby-G watches are designed to lift the spirits by helping the wearer feel like she is on vacation at a tropical resort.

The simple, square form of the new watches combines a wide watchband with a square case, based on the motif of a carry bag. The rib lines on the bezel serve as shock-resistant protectors, while providing a design accent that conveys the unique functionality of a Baby-G.

The hands and LCDs are well positioned on the watch face and the face colors are in a different tone than the body colors. Thanks to these features, the watch face design is reminiscent of a cosmetics palette. The LCD in the upper right corner of the face displays a letter G while counting the seconds, creating a look that just couldn’t be more “Baby-G.”

The lineup includes five color models: the BGA-200-2E in this year’s trendiest color, turquoise-blue, the BGA-200-3E in green, the BGA-200-4E in the always-popular color of pink, the BGA-200-7E in white, and the BGA-200-1E in black. All models are treated with a glossy finish for a splendidly elegant look.

BASEL, March 18, 2010 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the release of the new BGD-120P lineup of Baby-G shock-resistant watches for women who enjoy an active lifestyle. Water resistant up to 20 bar, the new watches are designed to appeal to women who love ocean sports.

Casio’s Baby-G casual watches are meant for active young women. Along with the toughness inherited from G-Shock, including both shock and water resistance, the Baby-G brand offers fashion appeal created by individualistic styling and creative color use, as well as a range of functions including World Time.

The new BGD-120P watches are water resistant to 20 bar, which makes them perfect for ocean sports. These Baby-G watches boast a fun, pop design suitable for leisure activities. In addition to a wire protector to buffer the watch from shocks, they feature a large button for the often-used EL backlight, with the Baby-G brand logo rendered in raised lettering to enhance finger grip and ensure better operability.

The watch face is circled by textured radiating lines that evoke rays of the sun penetrating the ocean water, and features LCD graphics based on a surfboard fin and wave motif, for a playful look that is extremely “Baby-G.”

The lineup includes five different color models. All are rendered in pop color schemes that create a strong contrast to the lettering color, as often seen in surf fashion and summer accessories.
